This is a very charming wooden case with with lid & leather handle. It has fabulous patina & started life as a document Case form the Duke of Norfolk’s Estate office in Sheffield. This particular box would have stored items relating to the Shrewsbury Hospital Estate.
The little chap is a very useful item that could be given a variety of uses. He would make a wonderful keepsake box.
